The Zoo

We had a fun trip to the zoo. It was free week so a bunch of us went so the kids could have an outing. It was actually a pretty nice day. I think that kids are starting to feel really cooped up, so I am trying to find fun things to do. It has been a long winter, and we are just trying to stay busy and enjoy are last few months of Iowa.

We are going to miss our friends so much when we have to leave. Lexie asks if we will live by all of our friends again in Utah, and I have to explain to her that we won't be as close, and it makes her sad.

Yes, this is a dinosaur at the zoo. I guess they don't want to leave anything out.

Lexie's Hard Week

Last Sunday Lexie kept complaining that she had a tummy ache. Bri took her home from church and she was really emotional. When I got home she said that her teeth hurt. We knew that she was having problems with her teeth and we had an appointment set up for Tuesday. Well she didn't sleep all Sunday night and when she woke up her face was really swollen. I called the doctor and we got right in. I ran Jocelyn over to Katie and took poor little Lexie to the Dentist. They looked and she had a bad infection in her bottom tooth, and was having a hard time with two others so we went right to the oral surgeon and got them pulled. There was four assistance along with the oral surgen holding her down to get her numbed and the teeth out. It was the hardest thing ever. Bri came and held my hand while I cried. I don't cry very often, but when it comes to kids I get pretty emotional. The first picture is a few days later and her face is looking much better.
We went to the bank the second day and took all her money from her penny bank. She had 29 dollars so she had enough to buy Enchanted. She was really excited so we went and got it and then Dallin came over and watched it with her.
She got four dollars from the tooth fairy. Three for each tooth and one for being so brave.

We went and got her a strawberry shortcake doll to bring her spirts up.

Here is just a look at how her face looked the second day. Poor girl. She was really brave.

Happy Easter

This is just all us girls right before church. We didn't get pictures with the Easter baskets because Bri was doing the video, and I was cuddling with Jocelyn because she was sad. The pictures are just showing how cute the little girls are.
Jocelyn is now 14 months, and she is keeping me busy at all times. She loves to climb on the table and try to pick flowers out of my vase. She loves when the bathroom door gets left open because she thinks the toilet is great fun. She is still such a smiley kid.

The girls were hanging out with Bri while he was doing his lesson.

Lexie loves posing and taking pictures with me and she always does her extreme smile.

Craft Night

I am so grateful for all the talented women in our ward. So for craft night for relief society we made these nursing covers. I am putting all these pictures on so Tesha can see what I picked out for her. Tesh, I hope you like it. I love it, but I don't need one for awhile.

This is the bag it comes in and a good look at the pattern.

Cute Kids

She has been playing hard lately and so I have been finding her around 3:00 asleep in random places. I know that if I wake her up she will be grumpy, but if I let her sleep it will be hard to get her in bed. She is so cute when she sleeps though.

Lexie wore her sunglasses most of the day, and then she fell asleep on the couch without them, so I put them back on her for a cute picture. She was still in the process of falling asleep because she is playing with her hair.
Look at this picture Jocelyn drew! Lexie drew the picture and she probably wasn't aware that Jocelyn had the magnadoodle. If she would have know she wouldn't have been very happy. Jocelyn just added all the scribbles on the bottom.
We were having movie time at our house so each of the kids need there own chair. Jocelyn and Kenna got the most comfortable ones.

Jocelyn has been thinking that morning time starts between 5:30 and 6:00. She was so tired before her nap, but she was still hungry so she is trying to eat while falling asleep.

Best Times

We had three stinky diapers with 15 people in our apartment so you can imagine how good the place smelled. This is just a candid moment so I had to take it. I still think our house is trying to recover the smells.

We had a few couples over at our house for some Sunday treats and we tried to keep them occupied with a movie so we could play games. This didn't last very long, but it was sure cute to see all of them sitting there for a little bit. There is Holden, Jocelyn, Kenna, Dallin, Lydia, and Lexie. Isaac didn't fit so he is in the next chair with his mom. Us girls ended up playing the game while the guys took care of the kids.

We gave them Flora and Fauna (the fairies from Sleeping Beauty) for Valentines Day. Lexie took both of them over, but Jocelyn didn't seem to care to much. Lexie is working on earning Merryweather by going to Primary all by herself. It has been a HUGE challenge.

These are our cute little Valentines. Jocelyn's hair is kinda crazy, but she is still so cute.

My girls are so cute!

Jocelyn is getting so big. She is now 13 months, and she is keeping me sooooo busy. She loves to get into everything. She is so much fun and has the cutest personality.

We were getting ready for church and I put on my neclace and earings so the girls need to get pretty too. Jocelyn held still long enough for me to do her hair, and Lexie just wanted a clip. She has quite the opinion on how things go so I let her have it the way she wants it most days, but I also tell her that she needs to let mommy do it really cute. She is gettting better at holding still, but that is the hardest thing about girls. We have hair stuff everywhere all the time, and they don't want their hair done.

This is Jocelyn's little house, and it keeps her entertained for long periods of time.
Sometimes she does the cutest things!
She went ice fishing with Grandpa Griff over the break and she still always talks about it.

Lexie just posing before going to her recital.

This was her first dance recital. She is growing up way to fast!
We are in Sharon, VT, Joseph Smith's birthplace
Jocelyn is 9 months old here.
