Our House

We are finally getting into a house, and we are so excited. We have been looking for awhile now and a couple of things fell through but it was a blessing because we got this one for a much better price and it is a lot bigger then that other ones we looked at. We will be living in Perry and the neighborhood is great. We live a couple of blocks from the elementary school. This is the back of the house. One day we would like to have a deck instead of just those stairs.
The basement is completly unfinished and we will put in 3 bedrooms, a family room, cold storage room, and a bathroom.

This is Lexie and Jocelyn's favorite part since they can just run around everywhere.

This is going to be Lexie and Jocelyn's room but they picked out pink for their paint color. So I am going to do the wall by the window pink and the other 3 tan.

This is just a half bath off of the garage. There are three bathrooms upstairs. 2 are full and one half.

Our kitchen. I don't have a picture of the dining area, but I love it because it is so open.

The living room and entry way. The bedroom with the door open is Jantzen's. It has double doors so it will become an office one day.

The property was foreclosed so it is actually pretty clean compared to other foreclosed places we have seen but there is a big peace sign in Jantzen's room and there is paragraphes of conversations on the wall. Nothing a magic eraser can't fix. So these are all the before pictures and I was post after we have everything painted.

Easter

I didn't get a picture of all the kids in their Easter clothes because we were in a hurry to get to church and then Jantzen pooped out of his so I didn't get a chance to get all of them together.

We went to a candy scramble at the park. I remember when I was a kid there was always so many people there so I thought that it would be fun for my kids. There was hardly any people there and they got so much candy that if you come to my house for Halloween this year you will probably get a hand fun of dum-dums because I will still have enough.

Jantzen - 4 months

Wow! I can't believe Jantzen is already 4 months. He has been such a good happy, smiley baby and he has gone through alot. First it was having to stay at the hospital longer, and now it just seems like one thing right after another. He has extremely sensitive skin and he got impentigo. Right now he has a boil on his little bum. He has caught all the colds possible. I am just grateful that he still always has a smile on his face.

Here is Jantzen and cousin Drayton. They are three months apart and Jantz is huge compared to him.
This is Uncle Tanner's mad scientist hair for Mr. Soda High.

This was Brian's baseball hat when he was a baby. Jantzen just looks so cute, and he is the happiest baby

Jr. Miss and Mr. Soda High

So I am really far behind so I might be posting a bunch of pictures each day for the next few days. I just wanted to post these. For those of you that don't know Jr. Miss is a scholarship program for Junior girls and Mr. Soda High is a fundraiser for Business Proffesionals of America. Mr. Soda High is just the guys being able to do the Jr. Miss thing but make it funny. This year was pretty exciting because my sister-in-law, Nessa won Jr. Miss and my little brother Tanner won Mr. Soda High. I got them holding Jantzen because he has been such a trooper through the performances.
